Tuition and Fees
Total costs for AIIM Certificate
There are no lab fees or textbook costs. Tuition covers all necessary materials and resources for each course.
About Payments
Students enrolled in the AIIM Certificate program can set up a monthly or quarterly payment plan. Students taking single courses must pay the tuition in full before the first day of class.
AIIM accepts payment by credit card, check, or bank transfer.
The American Institute of Integrated Marketing is not currently an accredited institution meeting the requirements for U.S. federal student loans. At this time, AIIM does not offer financial aid for the certificate program.

Our students make up a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. They may be recent college grads looking to build their portfolio with more practical experience. Or they may be seasoned professionals looking to switch careers. The different perspectives create engaging and lively conversations in our classes. The only requirement for admission into the AIIM Certificate program is a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
Applicants without an undergraduate degree can substitute five years of professional experience, but they must submit three professional reference letters and interview with the admissions staff.

Completion Requirements
To complete the AIIM Certificate

Students have up to three years to complete a certificate from initial date of registration. However, only students who complete their certificate in the recommended one-year time period will be eligible for invitation to Agency AIIM.

A graduate certificate is available upon completion of all courses if an overall average grade of B or higher is maintained.

Certificate candidacy may be revoked if students do not maintain academic performance or adhere to conduct policies.

How long is the program?Most students complete the AIIM Certificate Program in one year. However, you have three years to to complete the program and earn a certificate. The Agency AIIM Fellowship Program is a two year full-time commitment.

Is AIIM accredited?The AIIM Certificate Program is not accreditted. The AIIM Fellowship Program's accreditation is pending.

The AIIM Certificate Program (AIIM Classes) offers a certificate in integrated marketing after completion of all eight courses if an overall average grade of B or higher is maintained. You are allowed to just register for individual courses. Students have up to three years to complete a certificate from initial date of registration. The Agency AIIM Fellowship Program (Agency AIIM) offers a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing upon completion of two years working for the agency as a paid employee. Requirements for applying to Agency AIIM include successful completion of AIIM Classes and a separate application process.

When should I start?Currently, only students who begin classes in January and complete the certificate in one year are elgible to apply to Agency AIIM. However, if you just want to complete the certificate or an individual class, you can start during any of the quarters. Check out the academic calendar for key dates.

What is AIIM?The American Institute of Integrated Marketing is provides graduate-level instruction and training in integrated research and strategy. We help students build their portfolios and prepare for careers in agencies or in-house communication departments. Learn more

Does AIIM offer financial aid?AIIM does not offer financial aid. Need-based grants and scholarships are extremely limited. We encourage you to seriously consider the long-term consequences of taking on debt to finance your education at AIIM or any other institution.

Can I enroll as a part-time student?AIIM Classes are part-time. Only two courses are available per quarter. Agency AIIM is a full-time job

Can I transfer credits?You shouldn't have to repeat a course if you have already mastered the skills. Contact our admissions officer about a skills assessment. However, keep in mind, the goal of AIIM is to build your portfolio. If you test out of too many courses, you won't be gaining the experience you're looking for.

Do I declare a major?No you do not. Students receive instruction in integrated marketing with a concentration in research and strategy.

How do I become a fellow?AIIM Fellows must complete the one year AIIM Certificate Program. During the fourth quarter of each year, Agency AIIM will begin accepting applications for new fellows.

Can I complete the fellowship in less than two years?You need to work for Agency AIIM for two years in order to earn your master's degree. If you choose (or we ask you) to leave the agency earlier, you will not receive a degree. However, you do not have to pay back any of your salary.

How is this different than other graduate degrees?Agency AIIM provides 100% hands-on professional experience by allowing you to work full-time for a functioning integrated marketing agency. There are no textbooks, no term papers, and no tests. From Day 1, you are learning by doing the work in a real world setting.

Does the AIIM Fellowship offer salary and benefits?Agency AIIM offers a competitive salary and benefits including health insurance, vacation, paid holidays, and sick leave.

What are the costs associated with the fellowship?None! We pay you a salary for the entire duration of your fellowship. You will work full-time with Agency AIIM for two years.

Can I apply to the AIIM Fellowship without having completed the AIIM Certificate?Completion of the AIIM Certificate Program is a requirement for consideration by Agency AIIM.

Can I do the AIIM Certificate Program and AIIM Fellowship at the same time?Agency AIIM fellows are all AIIM Certificate graduates. You must spend one year completing the coursework before you are eligible to join Agency AIIM. It's our way of ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

What types of careers will AIIM prepare me for?AIIM Classes offers eight courses over four quarters focused on developing a baseline knowledge of integrated marketing from the perspective of an agency. Students who continue as fellows at Agency AIIM will receive two years of hands-on agency experience. However, your training does not limit you to an agency or consultancy track. The agency setting helps you develop the skills to effectively navigate integrated marketing campaigns and become an effective strategic communicator. AIIM graduates typically find work in advertising or PR agencies as strategists or insights analysts. They might also join in-house teams working in the marketing, PR, or digital communication department. Or they might do a little bit of everytihng at a smaller organization.

Will AIIM help me get a job?Our primary goal is to equip you with the tools and resources to excel in your career. Throughout your time in our programs, you will build your network by engaging with students and faculty who are all working professionals. Our career services department will host workshops and recruiting events as well as post jobs to our exclusive jobs board. Additionally, we encourage Agency AIIM clients to hire our graduates. We are the only agency in the world that actively encourages our clients to hire away our talent!

In other words, it's making sure that your organization or your client is telling the same story on every channel available to you.
